GRACE CHOI was born in Shanghai and raised in Hong Kong. After achieving great success in modeling for over 10 years, she is now active in fashion design.
Her educational background in fashion design and business combined with her experience and strong passion for fashion led her to create her own label “Yi-ming” in 2011. Yi-ming is derived from her name in Mandarin pinyin. She is fascinated with distinctive oriental fashion and aims to create a modern, chic interpretation of this through her line of East-meets-West style ladies’ wear. She wants to introduce a modernized oriental Cheongsam to a new generation. In 2014, Grace received a “40 under 40” outstanding fashion designer award by Perspective Magazine.
